Biography
Timothy Sands completed his PhD at the Naval Postgraduate School and postdoctoral studies at Stanford University and Columbia University, and is currently Associate Dean of the Naval Postgraduate School’s engineering school. Dr. Sands is an International Scholar Laurette of the Golden Key International Honor Society, a Fellow of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), and panelist of both the National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship program and the National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) Fellowship. He has published prolifically, and given several plenary, keynote and invitational presentations. Dr. Sands holds one patent in spacecraft attitude control.

Biography
Daniel Wheeler Bursch is a former NASA astronaut, and Captain of the United States Navy. He had four spaceflights, the first three of which were Space Shuttle missions lasting 10 to 11 days each. His fourth and final spaceflight was a long-duration stay aboard the International Space Station as a crew member of Expedition 4, which lasted from December 2001 to June 2002. He Graduated from Vestal Senior High School, Vestal, New York, in 1975; received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the United States Naval Academy in 1979, and a Master of Science degree in Engineering Science from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School in 1991.

Biography
Craig Narasaki is the dean of three continuing education schools and a distance learning department responsible for developing U.S. military service members and international partners who will thrive in a technologically competitive environment. I lead 124 committed faculty and staff members and manage a $13M annual operating budget. We graduate approximately 6,000 mid to senior level students in nuclear deterrence strategy, space policy and cyberspace operations annually. I report to the Chancellor, and serve on the Chancellor’s executive cabinet to advise and confer on issues related to regional accreditation, strategic planning, resource allocation and accountability for, and assessment of, organizational structures and processes
